FAQ - Renting an RV
What is the cost of renting an RV?
The cost of renting an RV at Koko Kamper depends on several key factors. We don’t have one fixed price, as the final cost is primarily influenced by the vehicle model you choose, the date of travel (we distinguish between low and high seasons) and the total length of the rental.
For an accurate quote for your dream trip, we encourage you to check our online price list, use our RV rental calculator or contact us directly, we will prepare a quick quote for the rental cost.
What is the cost of renting an RV per day?
The cost of renting an RV per day is variable and depends mainly on the season and the class of the chosen vehicle. At Koko Kamper, we use a transparent seasonal price list (low season and high season), which means that prices per day vary depending on the date of your trip.
Note that longer rental periods are often associated with more attractive daily rates. You can find all the current daily rates for individual camper models in the “Price List” tab on our website. We also recommend our camper rental cost calculator.
What is the deposit for renting an RV?
Yes, we charge a refundable deposit when you rent an RV at Koko Kamper. This is a standard procedure, which serves as a safeguard in case of any damage due to your fault or equipment deficiencies upon return of the vehicle. The deposit for camper rental is PLN 5,000 and for camper rental + (prestige+ and premium+) the deposit is PLN 8,000. The deposit for trailer rental is PLN 3,000.
The amount of the deposit is fixed for a given class of vehicles – you will find the exact amount in our price list and in the General Terms and Conditions of Rental (GTC). The deposit is, of course, fully refundable to your account after the end of the rental and successful verification of the technical condition and cleanliness of the camper by our team. For more information, please refer to the article on camper rental deposit and camper rental deposit insurance.
Does renting an RV pay off?
Definitely yes! In our opinion, renting an RV is an investment in independence, freedom and unforgettable memories, which overall often turns out to be very profitable. For 1% of the RV’s value, you can spend as much as 14 days in the RV.
Think of it this way: an RV is simultaneously your means of transportation, a comfortable hotel and a restaurant on wheels. You save on accommodation costs, which can be very high in popular tourist destinations, and on eating out, since all our RVs have fully equipped kitchens. At Koko Kamper, we believe that the freedom to travel and the ability to wake up every day with a different, beautiful view outside your window is absolutely priceless.
How much does an RV cost for two people?
The cost of renting a campervan depends on the model and date chosen, not directly on the number of people traveling. At Koko Kamper we offer both compact, agile campers (Campervan type), which are ideal for a romantic trip for two, and larger, luxurious semi-integers.
The price per day applies to the rental of the entire vehicle, regardless of whether two or four people are traveling in it (within the seating limit specified in the registration certificate, of course). For two people, smaller models are usually the most economical and comfortable choice, and you can find their prices in our price list and camper rental calculator.
How much does it cost per day to park an RV?
The cost of a day at a campground or special camper park is not included in the price of renting an RV at Koko Kamper. These fees depend solely on the price list and the standard of the facility you choose.
We, as a rental company, provide you with a fully prepared vehicle, while you pay the fees for overnight stops (campsites, campgrounds, private plots) yourself, directly to the manager of the respective site. These prices can vary widely – from a few euros for a simple parking space (the so-called “Stellplatz”) to as much as several hundred euros per night at luxury campsites with full infrastructure during the peak season.
What to look for when renting an RV?
When renting an RV, the most important thing is to carefully read the terms and conditions of the contract (T&Cs) and jointly verify the technical condition and equipment of the vehicle in detail upon receipt.
At Koko Kamper, we are always committed to full transparency. Pay special attention to:
- Mileage limit: There is no mileage limit in KoKo Kamper, unless you rent an RV with promotional vouchers/rewards then the daily limit is 150 km and this does not add up as a limit.
- The amount of the deposit: What is its amount and what are the exact conditions for its full refund.
- Insurance coverage: What is the scope of the policy (AC/OC/Assistance) and what is your deductible, if any.
- Equipment: Please make sure what exactly (e.g., utensils, gas bottle, camping furniture) is included in the standard equipment and what is available as a paid extra.
- The protocol of transfer and acceptance: This is a key moment. When you pick up the camper, please inspect the vehicle carefully together with our employee and note in the protocol any existing scratches or damage, we encourage you to take photos to avoid any misunderstandings at return.
Our consultants at Koko Kamper are here to calmly guide you through the process and answer any additional questions you may have! We encourage you to fill out an RV rental needs form. Then we will be able to help you with an accurate cost estimate and advise you on the best vehicle for your needs.
